Privacy
Privacy Policy
makairos is a Scripture internalization practice on iPhone. This policy is the public version of what the app already says in Disclosures.
What we collect
On this device, if you choose an account: full name, email, city, country, optional region, optional phone with country calling code, and an optional photo for the You tab. We also store the Words you plant, your paraphrases and commitments, reminder preferences, and appearance.
If you continue without an account, we store only what the practice needs on this phone.
We do not use GPS. City and country are what you type.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your name, your season, or your Words.
- We do not run advertising.
- We do not track you across other companies’ apps.
- We do not send Scripture you recite to a marketing cloud.
Who else might see something
- Apple, if you use Sign in with Apple, or if you allow notifications.
- Google, if you use Continue with Google.
- This phone: speech recognition and the microphone, only when you recite, so the app can show where a word differs. You may type instead.
Narration is the voice of Lawrence E. Adjah, bundled with the app or cached on the device. The app does not call a voice API while you listen.
Where it lives
Today, account and practice data live on the device (app storage). If a later version carries your house across phones, this policy will say so before that door opens.
Your choices
- You may continue without an account.
- You may decline the microphone, speech recognition, notifications, and photos; the Word still works, with typing.
- You may remove the account from this device in You. The Words you planted stay unless you uproot them.
- You may delete the app; everything it stored on the device goes with it.
Children
makairos is made for adults. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. The in-app Disclosures will stay the plainer copy.
